Vincent & Maricar Bitana

In 2022, God opened an opportunity for Vincent to study in Finland. He hoped to study, earn a bachelor's degree, and establish a business or find employment. However, God had bigger plans.

He was able to obtain a visa for his wife, Maricar, after only a year of living in Finland. Also, Pastor Rommel and Pastor August visited in September 2023, intending to scout for a venue for the Evangelism Summit. They asked Vincent to pray as they shared their vision of planting a campus-reaching church in Finland. Vincent’s passion to share the gospel and reach future leaders on the campus was rekindled. 

Vincent and his wife are grateful to be part of the Every Nation family of churches, which allows them to grow as disciples and has ignited their passion to pioneer a church plant in Finland.  

In the heart of Tampere, Finland, the team envisions a vibrant, dynamic campus-reaching church that engages the campus and community with the transformative love of Jesus Christ. Through Every Nation Ministries, they are committed to planting a church that not only meets the spiritual needs of students but also equips them to be leaders who will impact their campuses, their city, and the world.

Their mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover their purpose. The Bitanas aim to foster a community that values discipleship, leadership development, and social impact, ensuring every student feels valued, empowered, and equipped to make a difference.

Together with the church plant team, they will build a church that is a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change, transforming Tampere into a city that reflects the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ.
