Lily Bato

Serving in London, UK

Lily (aka Babes) met Jesus Christ when one of her classmates, who was radically saved at a weekend retreat, preached the gospel to her at age 19. Since then, she has experienced God’s unconditional love and transforming grace, which gave her a new life and purpose. She grew up in a campus church, planted and led completely by students for a decade where she witnessed God transform ordinary students into bold, faith-filled leaders, church planters, and missionaries. She witnessed a revival as 10% of her university—over  1,000 students—experienced salvation and were discipled to be salt and light in their communities. This experience showed her that reaching the next generation is a big part of kingdom building, that students are called to lead and make a difference, and that they all deserve to know and experience God’s unconditional love and overflowing grace.

She has served for the last two decades as a campus missionary in the Philippines and alongside the regional team as a mentor to hundreds of campus missionaries across the nation and throughout Asia. In 2016, she was a part of the first church planting team in Every Nation Nairobi, Kenya, which fueled her desire to reach the nations as a cross-cultural missionary. In 2018, she visited London for the first time. What was supposed to be a one-year project has now led to six years (2024) of ministry at Every Nation West Kensington where she serves as a local campus director and a mentor to campus missionaries in Europe.

Lily and her husband Brent aspire to preach the gospel to the lost, lonely, and unseen young people in the United Kingdom. They desire to build a community and a safe space for students and young professionals, allowing them to experience Jesus’s love and the Holy Spirit’s power. They are excited to mentor young men and women to live fully and challenge them to pursue their God-given purposes. They long to train young people to proclaim Jesus boldly in their generation.
