After planting churches across Ukraine in the 1990’s, our founder, Tom Jackson, was called by God to plant a church in Edinburgh, Scotland.  He founded the Centre for European Church Planting in 2004 to assist this and other church plants.  The local church in Edinburgh hosts our European headquarters and serves as the ministry setting for our short-term missions, internship, and staff development programs.

WHAT WE DO
We help make church planting effective.  We deploy a comprehensive range of specialized services to enhance every phase of the church planting process.

• Missionary Recruitment and Training – We recruit, train, and missionaries and church-planters in Europe.
• Project Planning and Management – We work with church planters to develop winning solutions, tailored to their cultural contexts, with innovative strategies that lead to effective church planting.
• Advance Research – We study the geographic, demographic, and ethnographic realities of a particular city that will impact strategy and methodology.
• Missionary Services – We serve missionaries by providing excellent support services for partners  helping to send them to the mission field.
• The War Chest – Because most church plants are under-funded, we are developing financial resources to support major church plants on a project basis.
